Simple and delicious! Serve with broccoli or fresh garlic green beans and jasmine rice.
- 2 (5 ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons honey
In a small skillet, heat the olive oil over medium. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant and beginning to brown, about 2 minutes, watch carefully so that it does not burn. Add the balsamic vinegar & honey. Whisk and simmer until the mixture thickens, about 4 minutes.
Place salmon in pan and let cook, when salmon starts to brown flip over and continue to cook. Be sure glaze is coating the salmon evenly. Ruben and I like ours on the crispy side, so we prefer this method.
If you prefer to bake your salmon simply place salmon skin-side down a baking sheet. Brush liberally with the glaze. Bake for 5 minutes, brush again with the glaze, then bake 5 to 10 additional minutes, until cooked through.
